This recipe does take some time and TLC, but when it's done right it is so wonderful.  It is my Grandma's famous recipe that we have been making for years.
Mix flour, salt, and pepper together.
Pound flour mixture into beef, on both sides to tenderize.

Cut meat into chunks, brown in sauce pan with butter.
Take meat out of the pan and caramelize the minced onion.
Add water and scrape bottom of the pan.
Add chicken soup and mushrooms.  Then return the meat to the pan and cook on low for 30 minutes.  While this is cooking prepare your noodles.
Just before serving add the sour cream.
Serve over cooked egg noodles.  Yum!
